Good Friday

April 2

Good Friday is a Christian holiday commemorating the Passion and crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary. The term "Good" as applied to Good Friday is an Old English expression meaning holy. Good Friday is always tied to Easter Sunday, which is a joyful celebration of the resurrection of Jesus.
