Christmas Eve at Emmanuel

Three evening services will be held on Christmas Eve:

  • 4:00pm – Family Worship Service with glow sticks
  • 8:00pm – Contemporary Candlelight Worship Service with music by our praise band
  • 10:00pm – Traditional Candlelight Service with music by our adult choir and Emmanubells. An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter will be at this service.

All donations from the collection plates on Christmas Eve will be evenly split between the UMCOR Disaster Relief Fund and subsidizing the cost of our new concrete steps outside the fellowship hall.

Christmas Eve is a great time to remember that we are all called to practice hospitality, as we make room for God to be born anew in our hearts and lives! We need families and individuals to sign up to greet people at the doors of the church, as well as serve as ushers, so that those who come to Emmanuel that night will experience the kind of welcome that God extends to all of us. This is a great family activity, and children can be wonderful greeters and can help you at your greeting station.  Please sign up early so we know that all the doors are covered! Also let us know in the comment section if others from your family are helping you, and if so how many. If you have questions, please contact Rev. Kim Capps:
