REPAIR CAFE – SATURDAY, JANUARY 13 – 10 AM to 1 PM

Bring your broken items from home, such as toasters, lamps, vacuum cleaners, clothes, jewelry, bicycles, small furniture, or electronics to the Repair Café in the Fellowship Hall on January 13 from 10am – 1pm! Volunteers will evaluate the items and fix as many of them as they can for FREE.  Volunteers will also be available to answer questions about repairs on items that are too large or not possible to bring in, such as plumbing or large furniture. — The Repair Café is inspired by the philosophy of a Sharing Economy. We share our time, skills and talents to build a more vibrant local community … one repair at a time.  Repairing items saves money and keeps things out of the landfill.  If you enjoy fixing items and would like to help out as a “fixer” at the Repair Cafe, we would love to have you join us. — For information about becoming a fixer or if you have broken items you would like to bring to the Repair Café, please visit www.transitionhoco.org or contact Liz at eumcgreenteam@gmail.com.
