SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 3 – 8:30 AM-12 PM

St. Paul’s UMC of Kensington brings us The Beloved Community Toolkit presented by Rev. Dr. C. Anthony Hunt, a Baltimore-Washington Conference MLK50 Event open to all, at Emmanuel in our Fellowship Hall. In this 50th year since the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we take particular pause to learn from his life and ministry. We are called to continue the work of Beloved Community through meditation, public witness, and community partnership. In his Beloved Community Toolkit, Dr. Hunt outlines key practices for effective witness for such a time as this.

RSVP: Rev. Claire Matheny of St. Paul’s UMC, Kensington, at cmatheny@stpaulsk.org. For more information about the Memphis Sojourn, visit http://www.bwcumc.org/events/mlk50/.
