On Monday, January 16, 2023, Good Hope Union United Methodist Church invites you to recommit and celebrate the life and work that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. represents. Emmanuel UMC will join our cluster in the community service projects from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Some of our projects will involve making: no-sew scarves and blankets, cards for a healthcare facility, and bagged lunches.
Contributions will also be made to the “Tree of Love,” to collect new hats, gloves, and scarves for Drew Elementary School in Silver Spring.
Monetary donations and items for the “Tree of Love,” packets of soup, hot chocolate, coffee, tea, coats of all sizes, and toiletries would be appreciated.
