Repair Cafe from 10 am to 1 pm.
Repair Cafe is in partnership with Transition Howard County and Emmanuel United Methodist Church on January 13 from 10am – 1pm
. People visiting the Repair Café can bring broken items from home such as toasters, lamps, clothes, jewelry, bicycles, vacuum cleaners and more! Repair Café volunteers will evaluate the items and fix as many of them as they can for FREE
. Volunteers will also be available to provide resources and answer questions about repairs on items that are too large or not possible to bring in, such as plumbing or large furniture. We will also be giving mini-workshops on a variety of DIY topics. Learn more about the Repair Cafe here.
By promoting repairs, Transition Howard County wants to reduce waste and help people save money. And repairing things can be a lot of fun! If you have broken items to bring to the Repair Café, please fill out the repair form here.
