Adult Education at Emmanuel

Our goal is to help you integrate your heart and your head and to help you live faithfully in a difficult and uncertain world. We offer numerous opportunities for adult spiritual development throughout the year all designed to help you grow in wisdom and love.

Adult Sunday School

Adult Sunday School meets every sunday at 9:00 AM in the Vernon Brown Ministry Center. Seasons Of The Spirit is the curriculum used by the adults. This is a lectionary-based curriculum that will enable adults to discuss the scriptures before hearing them read during the worship service. Drop in when you can! All are welcome!

Wednesday Morning Bible Study

The Bible is our sacred text but so few of us ever read it because when we do we find it confusing and it seems so out of date. The Wednesday morning Bible Study led by Rev. Stephanie Vader is your chance to learn more about the riches the Bible has to offer. Drop in any Wednesday and participate in this small group who learn from and support each other in daily lives. Childcare is provided for those who pre-register for it with Rev. Stephanie Vader. The study group meets every Wednesday from 10am - 11:30am in Meeting Room 2 in the church building. Contact Rev. Lenten Season Dinner and Classes

Each year during the season of Lent (the 40 days before Easter) we gather together on Sunday evenings for dinner and then various classes are offered for all ages. Pick and choose a different class each Sunday - a variety of classes are offered for adult and teens. Childcare is provided for infants and toddlers, and an active "Vacation Bible School-type" class is offered for elementary age children. For more information contact the church office.
